HYPOPRESSIVES: ONLINE VS IN PERSON?

I thought i’d answer a frequently asked question- do online sessions work as well as in person sessions?!

The simple answer is yes! You will get the same symptom improvements that you do in person via online teaching!

The main difference with online teaching is that I don’t use my hands to assess your breathing technique, I use my eyes and cues and these work just as well.

During an in person teaching session I often use my hands around your ribs to check your apnea and lateral breathing, I may also use my hands to help you with your posture.

Online I use my eyes which is why I will often ask you to wear a sports bra or crop top so that I can see your ribs and belly. I will also use more cues and get you to feel what’s going on in your body.

Both tactile cues and verbal cues give the same results! I have worked with people on line who have seen the same symptom improvements as those in person and the biggest benefit online is getting to know and feel your own body. I’ll guide you in feeling what is going on in your body, with your breathing and posture.

As long as you have your camera set up so that I can see your whole body you’ll get the feedback you need to crack this practice.

I offer both online and in person sessions- to book one of these head to www.bristolhypopressives.com/book
